Yellow-bellied Goalie
Ben pulled on his
heavy chest-plate, the leg pads and the foot kickers. Next
he pulled on the helmet.
The Coach pulled and
tightened all Ben's straps
"Ok Ben, you're
ready for battle," he said.
Ben has been
selected to play goalie against the meanest, toughest,
ugliest hockey team in the comp.
He's not surprised
rats are gnawing at his guts and he thinks he'll vomit
through his helmet.
